CHICKEN GEORGE IS A HELL OF A DOG

Post by Ralph Pearson »

Just wanted to say that I had a pretty good run today and this old dog simply amazes me with how smart he is. Old George jumped one out of the bean field and ran him for 3 hours without any checks and was just about to catch the rabbit when the rabbit dived into the creek and swam underwater for about 50 yards and Chicken George was just about to catch him when he had to come up for air and the rabbit got away. I am starting the CHICKEN GEORGE FAN CLUB and will keep you posted about how he does. All I can say is CHICKEN GEORGE IS A HELL OF A DOG!

Know an ole boy, progressive pack judge and friend Paul Carter that went all the way to the top of HOY with a female named Kudzu of some of the old bloodline I brought up this way that was judging a field trial one time somewhere and a dog that probably would have made it to the top another year in HOY if he had not died that I sold Eddie Mitchell named Jim's Little Lukey went down a creek with his nose in the water driving a rabbit come out of the water hit the track and went up the bank and was still driving. Just think if he had scuba gear. Sounds alot like George.

Ole Chicken George may be a smart rabbit runner but he sure was dumb in the "Big Brother" house!

Word is getting out on old George and there was 3 spectators here today to watch him and just as well because now I have witnesses about how good old George really is and I don't mean to brag but I can't help it. Nary May says I am windy as a politician but I told her that I could easily sell any of my dogs for $2,000 and there ain't no telling what George is worth and she told me to prove it and of course I couldn't and she said I was just a big phony but one of these days she will have to eat those words and I ain;t just kidding about that. Today I ran him around a pasture and he ran the dickens out of a baby rabbit and I never seen anything like it I tell you what. He got to really pressurring this little fellow and the rabbit decided to pull a trick and I never seen one that young that knew the ropes like this little shaver. He weren't no bigger than a pigs ear and he run right up that big corner post in that pasture fence and run along the top wire for about 100 feet and old Chicken george was about 20 feet behind him tracking and balancing on that top strand of barb wire and just chopping like choo choo train. Talk about line control!!! Chicken George is a hell of a dog! Fact!

After today I am going to start keeping George in the house cuz he is a hell of a dog. Today he sparkled like gold and shined like silver. I may not run him tomorrow because wrestling is on the TV satation but its a hard decision cuz george is a hell of a dog. Nary May has been mad all night cuz I told her George was going to sleep in the bedroom. One man called by the name of McVay and said he had a dog better than George and wants to run a challenge hunt and I sure hope George can show him how its suppose to be done. I will keep you posted about what happens. I just got off the phone after talking to the man that owns Georges father and he said Georges father is a hell of a dog!

Well old Chicken George, should meet up with old Muddpuddlin George. Muddpuddlin George likes to lay in the water and all you can see is his eyes and nose. Wouldn't this be a great team. Your George tracks um through the water and my George laying there like a big old alligator and snatches the old rabbit. If Chicken George ever gets to Ohio the invatation to run is always open to run. But the rabbits run long and deep in the hollars. Just bring a lounge chair.
To old to cut the mustard, you can always run beagles

Probly come out there to Okio cuz theres been a lot of folks wanting to see George run. Hes a hell of a dog. I would like to see him run against the World Champion cuz George ain't got nothin to hide but so far I haven't herad a word from no one and I am starting to think maybe they is all a little worried about some things they maybe don't want nobody to know about their famous World Champion and such as that, if you know what I mean etc. I been thinking that for the benifit of the public beegling world and some of the other folks who likes dogs that I ought to give some of Georges credentials and rabbit dog specifications such as his running style and conformation and blue ribbon pedigree and what kind of dog food he eats and such as that and what he listens to on the radio and his kennel manners and how loud his mouth is and so forth and so on but I decided some of the more jealous type folks out there in the Beegling world might think I am bragging on George and I don't want to make nobody jealous or get them to thinking their own dog ain't no good and have cause to hurt their feeling and things like that, so I won't. So as not to brag and get folks all upset I will only mention one iddy bitty teenie weenie little thing about him. Hes a heck of a dog! Fact!

when you bring him to ohio let me know cause i gotta nice lil female that is just as good as george. if your stud fee aint over $2,000 i wouldnt mind breeding to him. her name is hen picking patty i saw her just the other day chase a rabbit clear up to the top of an old oak tree and back down and never missed a beat. i bet them pups would make a hell of a pack of dogs.

Ralph,
I was out talking to a rock today and the rock told me there wasn't a dog alive right now that could beat Chicken George!!! My money is on Chicken George because a rock told me so, you just have to sit up and listen when a rock talks to you.
If Hen Pickin Patty and Chicken George are mated I would like a pup if they are under 3,000.00! At 8 weeks old the pup has to swim under water for a hundred feet and be able to climb at least 30 feet up a tree, I'm looking for a combination fish and squirrel dog!
LJ, can I have the pick of the litter? web feet and double dew claws would help and silent on track, I don't want them to know the pup is coming. dboman
Let's go run them!!!
