Well guys I have some bad news, I have been out of the country for the past three weeks and while I was gone one of my females had pups out of my Hammer dog and when the pups were five days old she got out and was killed my wife has been bottle feeding the pups which are just over two weeks old now and doing good so mabye they will make it and I had Hammer at a friends house who was running him while I was gone and he got loose one night and got into some poison and died so I lost both Hammer and Gypsi in two weeks. This has really set me back with my beagles but the only good thing is I have three pups out of Hammer and my Sadie female and the three pups out of Hammer and Gypsi so the blood line is still there. It is just a sad day on the hill.

You know how the saying goes only the good die young. Im really sorry for your hard luck. But on the bright side like you said you didnt lose your blood line.

Tough pill to swallow Jeff, I hate it for you buddy. Those were good young dogs but you have more that will step up, hang in there.

I still have my Sadie female that is out of Bossman that is doing a pretty good job and I have a female that is out of her and Terrys' old Yates male that is 8 months old and started pretty good and my buddy had a full sister to her that is doing good and he just gave her back to me today because he took a job in Florida and will be awhile before he gets to hunt again.
