Often i look at the Pets for sale in the Courier Journal Louisville paper. This morning i couldnt help but notice only 2 ads for Beagles and they both advertised as free to good home. Many ads but only beagles for free. My guess is we have flooded the market...Watching tv the other night the animal shelter showed a dog ..a really nice looking beagle ..said she had more beagles when someone said i dont think this one will leave the station.....

I defiently think beagles are overbred.... Here we have a bunch of idiots who thinks just because is a purebred and has papers, they have to breed it. Its too bad really.. I'm always going to get my beagles from shelters, they crawl with them up here, especially in the winter, for some reason.

Every time we bring our babies to the woods, could be the last time we see em.. Thats probably why shelters are fuller in the winter!!! Are you gonna run yours Fetching pixels

I didn't mention hunters at all. I understand what you guys do. I was refering to all the idiots who think just because there dog has papers means they have to breed them. Hunters didn't come up once in that. At least you guys are breeding for a purpose these people are breeding because there dog has papers. My god people, don't you have anything better to do than jump on me?

And yes I do plan on running mine, if I can find a place to do that at.

I happen to think she made a valid point. There are a bunch of idiots breeding dogs that don't need to be bred. Just look at all the kennels who use brood bitches who can't run a biscuit. Eventually, there will be culls bred from those genes.

That is just one example.
