Just got e-mail from AKC. They are suspending fax based Registration. Something about updating their system.

I think they have suspended more than fax. i still am waiting for papers and it's been two months.

I have been waiting for a litter reg. about 6 weeks. The pups are sold but no papers. I called and got a recording that they would be back up and running in a couple of weeks.

I have been waiting for one that i submitted in feb. and still havent gotten it back.

I talked with AKC yesterday.This is what they had to say,They have not started their certificate transfers as of yet .Will be starting on them soon!
Puppy Applications: They are starting on them now, i had sent them 3 sets of papers 1 application and 2 Tranfers,they say they sent the application out on the 31st of Mar.The transfers have not been started on yet.I had sent them out in mid Feb.So hopefully things are getting back to normal (use your on opinion of normal)!!!

I just got one set of transfer papers that I mailed off on the 15th of february. I got them in the mail on April 2nd. The bad part about it is that there were 2 transfer applications in the same envelope and I still haven't received the papers on the 2nd pup. The pups are littermates and both transfer applications were in the same envelope. So who knows what happened. I hope they haven't screwed this up, because I caught hell getting these papers from the breeder

Well i guess i know where i stand. I took a drive down the road to a guys that has a puppy mill, he raises 40 different breeds of dogs. and regesters 100 pups a month with akc. i told him i sent in papers on 2 pups 2 months ago & no word on them as of yet. he showed me a whole stack he just got back that he sent in on the 5th of march. now something just is'nt right.

I got my litter papers back in about three weeks....go figure!
