INDIANA MONEY RUN

Post by JIMMIE ABSHIRE »

I just was thinking do you boys think that we could pull off a money run
in indiana , I would love to run for cash . Maybe 50.00 entry . 100 %payback . I very seldom quit running during the summer heat so why not get payed to get ticks . Before u ask nkc does not own indiana land :) Maybe we can call it the frontline nationals 06

Well if you'll have it while I'm off work one weekend, count me in to run a dog or judge one.

We run ukc HB, but i think it'd be awsome to run a little pack hunt in the morning...... then a ukc hunt in the evening and come up with a combined point system..... laugh about it all at a bonfire that night

Houndsound , If i was more alert with the ukc scoring system . I dont know how it works  . I do appreciate the offer for your grounds and facility . I have always run the lp rule system , i am familiar with it . I am also willing to run ukc if some body will set me straight on how we score .
What about it kevin ? Have you ran ukc ? I am up for it if i can get a rulebook . Does any body know where i can get one ? I thought june maybe mid month would be the time before it gets smothering hot. Sounds as though we got a club willing to step up for us . Figure out what you boys want to do I am in ;)

I'll have to talk to the other club members.... but am sure it would be o.k.
UKC is pretty simple, but yes you should read through the rules. You can view them on UKC's web site or they will send you a rule book. We'd be glad to handle the score cards for that end of it. You guys would gave to judge the lp part of it though..... some of our guys have ran a few lp hunts and really liked them, but none of us have judged them. Just idea's. Let me know what you think.

Sounds fun. I'd use LP rules, and maybe make it a little more interesting.. How about a winner and losers bracket.. Kinda double elimination since money is on the line. In case a hound get's beat by 10 at the last minute or something ro even no running...That way a hound get 2 chances. Maybe even keep a lucky hound honest....

Example:

30 entries or 6 casts of 5..

6 hounds advace 1st round

24 go to losers bracket

5 casts...4 casts of 5 and 1 cast of 4

5 more hounds advance..

you now have 11 hounds left

3 casts 2 casts of 4 and 1 cast of 3

now have 3 hounds left for finals..
