I have a grandson out of him here in Ohio. He's AKC, UKC, PKC, and ARHA registered. He's in the select sire program. CH HBCH, needs 5 points to champion in ARHA. His name is CH HBCH Thornsley's Muddpuddlin George. If you need more information call 740-622-6995 or email. I will show this dog in the field any way you want to see him go.

Cliff is still alive but has not produced any pups for about 2 years. He is almost 14 years old and still doing well, I have 3 females out of him that is stilldoing really good. I do know where there is a male out him close to me in WV.
Thanks Chip Eisenhut

Turbo stuff seems to be the hot genes in the mid-west. I never saw him run and he is producing well especially when crossed with Ninja. My thoughts are that Turbo is not the man, Heli-Prop was. Terry McBride has stated Heli-Prop is the finest beagle he has even seen run and what made Jack a great producer is producing Heli-Prop. That being said, unfortunately, the closest your can get to Turbo is a son or daughter, which is a grandson or granddaughter to Heli-Prop. Why breed to a son or daughter of Turbo when there are quality studs out there directly out of Heli-Prop? JMHO

Heli Prop?

Post by xdawg »

What all males are left out of Heli Prop? Could you list the studs name and bottom side...?

Thanks,
Jack

Big Boy Patch,
I did to until I got home and counted his points. If dad would have let me win that would have finished him but now for sure he needs 5 points.

Turbo vs Heli-prop

Post by johny »

I have seen Turbo and his offspring. I prefer the Turbo dogs to the Heli-prop dogs for these reasons: 1. They have better hunt 2. They have good foot without sacrificing line control. 3. I have seen more quality dogs off of Turbo bred to different bitches. What I mean to say is that there have been several different bitches bred to Turbo with consistent characteristics. I am not downplaying Heli-prop, just seems that he produced good dogs being bred to certain bitches. 4. Better looking pups.

These are just my opinions so please don't take offense, just trying to help. Good Luck.

There is a dog named Rocket in the Sissonville WV area that is out of Turbo that you may want to look at. Real impressive dog. Not far from Charleston. The dog is owned by Jeff Haynes and Paul Bonham.
