Tony Kildow and I judged the 1st round of opens in the hound of the year runoffs and you talk about hard hitting non stop full bore running, they ran for the first 25 minutes solid before a check was even scored I believe the dogs were Digger- Craig Tull
Reggie- Kevin monroe
Dozer- Ron Wagner
Brett- Dale Peters
Freckles- Jason Blevins
They ran for the whole hour and strung Tony and I out. I believe this cast was the best cast I had judged in the past 10 years, of course they were not in the top 10 for no reason.

Those are some nice one that Craig mentioned as I have run against most of them. I'd say ol Jimbo's Junie dog impressed me a lot. He ran on 3 legs the whole hunt and still placed 6th out of 348. Now that is heart. Cant wait to see what he does on 4 next year.

No cuttin his tail off!! He's definitely a tough dog, I saw him get hung in a steel trap up in Indiana by his muzzle, we got him out and he went and jumped a rabbit right after that. If that aint tough I dont know what is lol Yeller I figured you would be impressed with the smiling dog out there too lol
Another dog I liked up there was Brewer's Bar None dog, he had good power and speed out of the check for sure. Only thing I hold against him is that he is out of Turbo lol

I judged Bill Gildersleeve's Libby bitch in the finals and man was I impressed. I never seen or heard of the dog before. When he had her on the lead I was wondering what she was doing in the finals at the world hunt (shes a small chubby dog........lol) well after they got a rabbit up I seen why. That dog could lock on a rabbit and go non stop regardless of what the other dogs in the pack are doing. She really put on a show.

Huntin54,
Junie broke a toe on his foot couple years back that aggravates him now and then. Then on top of that his pad on his foot was tore.

I believe that puts Libby in the hall of fame.

That is two big 5 wins for her now, so that would give her 27.5 with making grand. Does she have state hunt wins also Mike? I'm glad for farmer Bill if that does give Libby enough points, he is a relatively unknown guy that packs some pretty good rabbit dogs.

I hate that I have never seen that Libby dog go, at least not yet. I heard she was an awesome hound. Bout like im hearing on here. Everyone says what is she doing here and then goes out and wears people out. Know that is awesome.
