Picture of yesterday's hunt

Post by Rabbit Fever »

Heres a picture of yesterdays runnin. The snow had a crust on it from the warming days and the freezing nights. Without snowshoes you would fall thru, but wearing them it was like walking on pavement. Hounds stayed on top as well. The action was fast and furious all day long. The hounds ran great. We shot 7 hare, the last chase lasted 2 hr untill it met its demise by the trusty 410. The hounds were Bordercreeks MR Truman, Bordercreeks Miss Nellie, Bordercreeks Lightning, Bordercreeks Miss Lucy, and Bordercreeks Micky. This whole week the runnin has been awesome. Just getting ready to go out today, we got 2 inches of fresh snow last night.

You know, I will be up in Ladysmith next weekend, hopefully we will have the same running conditions that you did... (Crossing my fingers)
