Not sure where to post this, so here goes. I'm interested in getting a pair of Lacrosse rubber boots, about 18" tall and was wondering which of the following you all would recommend. I plan on using these for deer hunting, rabbit hunting, and maybe turkey hunting. They're pretty much the same thing, but diff. grams of insulation.

Steve,
Funny you posted this! I was just on the Lacrosse website last night. Need a new pair of rubber boots to turkey hunt and bow-hunt with. I am going to purchase the Alphaburly Sport in Realtree Hardwoods. I am going to buy the uninsulated pair because I will be using them for warm-weather hunting. They are by far the lightest rubber boots on the market!
I have a couple longbeards tied down for us! Let me know when you want to come down! How's the pup doing?

If your looking for something light weight and warm check out a pair of "MUCK Boots". Ive not found a boot any warmer plus you can roll the tops down on them in warmer weather so they arent as warm.

The Alpha Burly sport is the most comfortable boot I ever had, just like a pair of crosstrainers. how ever mine the 800 gram, and not to great for warm weather. I just bought the Hawthorn 6" for summer running, and trialing, another awsome boot from Lecrosse.
Try this site best prices I've found, even better than the lecrosse site.
