Working on a pup pen, about 4 acres. Just curious as to the best way to "stretch' the wire. I am putting 2 strands of high tensil wire, one on the top and one on the bottom. Is it better to pull the wire to stretch it or just attatch to the existing strands of wire with rings, pulling hand tight ?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Ronnie Roland

Hand taut is best and all thats needed. Ever try to climb a loose wobblie fence when you were a boy? hard for hounds also...
Put the lower wire right at the ground level, the high tension fence has 3X the galvanizing regular fence does, so it holds up well and will discourage any outsiders from slipping under...
It does well to have 2 hold the fence taut and in place, and another 2 with hog ringers follow behind... ;)

Ronnie, If you have alot of deer you might want to put up more strands of high-tensil. I ran 4 wires and the deer still knock the fence loose 4or 5 times a year!
