Swing got to see a bunch up close and personal a few weeks back. He would be a good judge if he could find his birthday! J/K! Gotta love a guy that gets to hunt that much! Or hate him I can't make my mind up! LOL! :gunguy:

I have a female I just got back from the starting pen that has good hunt and a crystal clear bawl mouth. I am not sure if I am going to keep her or not. I watched her hunt on her own in a big pen and was very impressed. I have too many young dogs and she is on the bubble if anyone is interested. She is a leggy 14", with a shiny black blanket back, seems to be intelligent and handles ok for a 7 month old.

I'd be interested. I have a boldstroke male and really like him. Is that female AKC or UKC?

hey boldstoke guys
i'v run alot of hours with boldstroke hounds.i have owned and fieldtrialed Boldstokes morning star, reba ,lil peggy, daisy duck, ramblin willie, buffalo bill.i ran dead eye sally at th '96 arha world hunt. i have had a lot of success with the boldstokes, but most of all i have had alot of fun hunting with them.i still have buffalo bill .he is the best jumpdog(male)ihave ever run with.i said male because star was maybe my best hunter .i don't trial anymore. gil davis has always treated me the best any breeder could .as a matter of fact , i only payed gill for one beagle (reba).i guess he really trusted me. he would give me a dog i would train it ,trial it,have a ball doing it and when i was done i would sign the papers back to gill.then gill would call and tell me to come get a super-pup he had for me and we would do it all over again.it was a blast.gill and i never had an agreemnt to do it this way ,thats just the way our relationship developed.this line of beagles never let down ,not to say they are perfect but i won alot of field trials.i hope you guys keep the line going. i know of a boldstroke male that no one else knows about ,he's good.maybe i'll breed to him and get back into it .you guys have rekindled my intrest in these litte dogs.

Boldstroke female

Post by sanfordssj »

I have three Boldstroke/turbo cross dogs (two male and one female). These dogs are fast and will hunt all day. The two males are going to be trialed this year. I heard that two of the other liter mates have already championed out. I haven't found that for myself, but at least I have something positive to go on (I believe John Queen owns them). They are out of Turbo Powered by Turbo and Boldstrokes Stargate Kate.

I'm expectin a litter in March that will be 3/4 branko and 1/4 Boldstroke if anyone is interested. I own both parents.
