Anyone know who makes chain collars with the stainless steel name plates, or just the stainless name plates?

I am having some made today. I will let you know how they turn out. I am having the name and phone number cutout in them. Have you seen some that were stamped? I was wondering if the stamping machines could stamp s/s. What would you give to some?

I have some with stainless name plates. They turned out as good as brass. I moved and need some new ones, but I forgot where I got my old ones. Let me know how much and who to get in touch with. I need four of them. Thanks.

Slip Check Company in Missouri makes the best chain collars I have seen. I use them on all my hounds. 573-682-2597. The collars are about $11.00 each, but they last forever.

The only problem with Slip Check collars is you need pliers to put them on. The clip is very stiff, stiffer then my thumb

I bought the Slip Check collars. The clasp was much to tight for me. I changed them to a different hooking method. They look great..but i have not had long enough to recommend....reason i bought was one dog ate anothers collar through the chain link..I just bought 2...to experiment.

If kept fitted on your dog and not left dangling real loose the Slip Check will wear out a few hounds. The clip is tough but in my opinion it's that way for a reason. Never lost or wore one out here. Price also drops to $9.00 each if you buy so many at a time. Can't remember how many though. I like the fact I don't have to take my collar off to put a trial collar on.

I've seen the add for Slip Check chain collars but didn't have much info. Do they engrave/stamp the info on the name plate for you? How many lines can you have if so?

Doesn't jewels of the horn make them also? How much are theirs and are the as sturdy as Slip Checks?

My Slip Check collars always just have name, town/state, and phone number, so just three lines. I like the fact that it takes pliers to get them off, because it's more work for a dog thief and you don't lose them in brush, etc. And it is nice to leave them on at a trial, in case your dog is lost somehow. Also, the collars drop right down into the dog's fur, which is more attractive than a large nylon or leather collar around a dog's neck.

Incahoots I believe you can have up to 4 lines. They are stamped not engraved. They are the only collars I own. Goes well with Chain Gang Beagles.
