I like when the dogs are pounding the rabbit and he doubles back on the same line and just when you think the dogs may be backtracking here comes old Peter.

I like watching a jump dog; NOT A STRIKE DOG a JUMP dog. A dog that has an unbelievable knack for jumping rabbits. When I watch a jump dog work and jump rabbits where 99% of beagles can not jump rabbits day in and day out all day long that is what I remember most after the day is over. I like going to a place where everyone says there are not any rabbits with one of those real deal jump dogs. You will find rabbits with a jump dog.
You can't run a rabbit if you cant find one.

Like Matt I like a Jump Hound, nothing like watching a Great Jump Dog work and theres not many out there,I also like to watch a Big Male realy burn a track. I belive above all is watching a pup you've started jump and run its first Rabbit solo to the gun.

i love seeing my younger pup gets the check from my older way more experienced female. it doesnt happen to often but when it does it just makes me feel good. the female is one heckuva check dog and is a direct daughter to shaker. my male is a yellow creek dog. nothing fancy but i kill rabbits over him...keith

my favorite is starting young dogs. watching them go from not having a clue to flipping the switch and doing what they were bred to do. it amazes me everytime.

I like to see multiple circles, just steady mistake free track running with no loss till the rabbit is shot, caught or holed, those runs that last for over an hour.Best I ever had was a 6 hour run with 2 females.I sold one and she circled a rabbit 12 times for the guy.Wish I had her back

I like to hear a pack of screaming beagles coming right at you with Mr. Rabbit running for his life. Nothin better than a hot track and a scared rabbit with a few hounds right on his rear!!!!!
FAVORITE PART

I love to watch my beagles jump a rabbit then come pounding by hot on another rabbit then follow me down the track home when I want to go. I walked two beagles, a white shep and a Chinese Crested (in heat) , in the bush, and forgot all the leashes at home! I like a versatile, well trained dog of any breed! I love to watch my beagles trotting down the track towards me after a chase in the bush. Carolyn

I am impressed when I see a dog that can run when most can't.
