I just picked up a dog today that a man I deal with a lot gave to me. THe only problem is she's over two years old and her puppy papers were never sent off. I know there's an $65 late fee but that's not the problem. THe person her got the dog from filled the papers out. SO his name, address, the name of the dog, everything is differnt than what I want it to be. I thought if I white-out his information but I don't know if AKC would accept it. I need HELP. Thanks in advance for any help.

akc has a supplimental form you can fill out and it cost an extra 15 dollars.you can call and they will send you one or you cann go to there web site and print one out.either way no big deal.

Don't use white-out! The AKC is very picky about such things! Use the supplemental form.

I don’t know for sure if you can change the name of the dog ?

You can White out the dogs name , but ONLY the dogs name. You will have to use the supplemental transfer for the rest of the info.
