Anyone ever order from them? If so what is your opinion on the box. I was thinking about an ATV utility box and the ATV dog box that goes in it.

I just bought a new dog box a few months ago. I took a good long time shopping for one. I looked at all models I could find online. I looked at manufacturing techniques, too. I emailed companies and asked a lot of questions.
Color choices, fancy drawers, doors, and hydraulic lids are all nice, but they are all decided upon by the buyers likes/dislikes, and the weight of his wallet. (they all come at a price)
One thing that I almost overlooked when shopping, was the actual construction of the boxes. And from the way some of these companies build their boxes....I am assuming a lot of others overlook it too.
If you want aluminum....decide why you want it. If you want it because it is pretty.....then go buy any aluminum box on the market. If you want aluminum because it is strong and won't rust or rot up like a wood or steel box.....then you better look real hard at the aluminum boxes on the market. very few fit this bill. Many are nothing more than wood boxes with sheet aluminum screwed to the sides. The corners are not sealed in any way, so any moisture gets right into the wooden structure of the box and it is going to rot up like any other wooden box. (maybe quicker because the aluminum sheets will actually hold the moisture in the wood and not allow it to evaporate) Other boxes are fully aluminum, but are screwed/bolted together. Years of loading and unloading, and bouncing around in the back of your truck will loosen the bolts. Then the doors won't close or latch correctly.
If you want a box that will last the longest. Get something that is MIGed or TIGed together at all the seams. It will not wobble, fall apart, rust, or get saturated with water. comparing boxes with otherwise identical features, a welded box is going to cost you more money, but will literally last a lifetime. If you shop around, the difference in cost can be whittled down further than you might think.
I know nothing about dog boxes etc. I did not research these boxes when I bought mine, so I am not pointing a finger at them. However, the majority of the popularly mentioned boxes on these hound hunting websites are fancy looking junk. (just my opinion....take it or leave it)
I don't care if someones goal is to buy a fancy box. I do care if someone sets out to buy a box and assumes they are all equal. If you want a box that will last many, many years...then you better get one that has welded seams.

Mine has no wood whatsoever and fits in the back of a compact truck.
It can carry six beagles over long distance or eight for short distances.

lance you looking for a double compartment box or single,,,,,,there is an amish man that builds boxes here by me he makes them out of aluminum,, he has a single compartmant box that is like 37'' long and 24wide and 24heigh,it fits on the back rack of a 4 wheeler,,,,it cost right at 140.00,,,,,,,,,,,jeff
