I got a pup from Pete Burns (Briarhopper) that is out of the Smokes Creek line of dogs. This pup was born June 14, 2005. Today she opened and ran with the big dogs. Is life great or what ?

Andy,
Glad to hear your pup opened up and is going w/ the running dogs! She is just a little over 5 months old. I kept two pups from that litter and will be starting them here shortly - - when deer season winds down. Looking forward to seeing what they can do! I have high hopes that they will turn out to be some fine hounds.
Curious as to what kind of mouth your pup has? I know it will probably change some as she matures. Both her dam and sire have a loud squall mouth.
Best of luck,
Pete

I picked up one of Pete's pups, too! I am anxious to get him started and runnin'. He is a fine looking hound.

Pete, I appreciate all your help and advice with this pup. I am looking forward to running our hounds together soon.
