My female is due in a few days. She is big, and her eating has slowed down. My question is when will she develop milk? It seems like she doesn't have a milk line and there is no milk present in her tits yet.

Everydog is different to some degree with reproduction, when it comes to milk some won't have milk until after the pups have whelped and others have a good supply before. It all depends on the genetic make up of that dog.

The important thing is to keep plenty of water available for her and free feed her after whelping. Having puppies drains a dogs system and with out enough nutrition she will produce less milk.
