Dawgy, Got your PM. I've got a few leads on some pups. I answered your PM, but forgot to ask for your phone number. PM me back with it and I'll give you a call. Thanks.

Casey was a nice, smooth running big male, not super fast, but had alot of sense to him and ran with control and was great on the checks. Not flashy, but real workmanlike and honest. His litter had five pups, three made FC, one needed a win to finish, and they say the best one out of the lot would have finished but she was a bit shy, still she managed a win and places. Curly was by FC Birch Lake Lucky, a heavy Birch Lake bred hound. I didn't see him run, but am told he had extreme speed with line control. To my knowledge he was only bred a couple of times, one cross produced two FC's, with every pup placing out of the litter. One of the pups, FC Townline's X-Mas Snow is the fastest beagle I've ever seen drive a rabbit. I watched her literally leave a pack in the dust, forcing them to break off from her, many times she'd just run away from the pack and be running the hare alone. Her littermate brother, FC Riverland Black Ice is an outstanding hound and very, very consistant, good foot, with line control and great check ability. The bitch side of Snow and Ice is heavy Paycheck breeding.

Slaux,
Thanks for that info. I just bought a double bred Casey bitch pup. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Dogs that can push a rabbit with line control. I judged some Paycheck dogs in Mid-West trials back in the early 90's, and that's how I remember them being. I'm looking forward to getting some of this blood in my kennels. Thanks again.

Hey Eric, I'm just trying to get something that I not afraid to take to Mississippi and throw in with those things of yours. Those little bitches you sent up here are starting to look pretty good. I'll give you a call.
