Most dogs I have seen in WV that people call Dingus dogs have Dingus MacRae back on the 5th generation or further back. I doubt most of them are even %15 Dingus.

Mike really tells you why, it is usually too far back and when you start going back in a pedigree you also will have alot of dogs that go back to Dingus but you can't really know what to expect.

dingus is hard to get close in a dogs pedegree even with heavy line breeding thus makeing almost extinct as far as bloodlines go.

I have got a female that has several dingus bred dogs up close, second generation on the sire side is FC Dingus Big Shot. Second generation on the Dams side is FC Macrae's Little Pete. Third generation on the Sire and Dams side is FC Dingus Macrae. So far this is my favorite bloodline. Every dog I own is a son, daughter or grandson to this female. and i have had great luck with them tried lots of others with no luck

Lynn Perkins has a grandpup of Dingus, she is pretty old, though. That would make pups out of her show DIngus in the 3rd generation pedigree. Probably pretty rare. I think he has pups on the ground from her, may want to check if interested.

Does anyone know if Perry's Peete is still alive? Who owned him? Or where I can see a photo of him? He is very heavy line bred Dingus Macrae!
