Try thr UKC website, the ARHA/NKC website, The AKC website . These are three of the registerys hosting trials, they have different styles, just find a club near you and call the contact person . Join a club and start trialing , have fun!

Poorboy,

I did the same thing, only I was out of it for 20 years. I would suggest you find a club close and get involved. I got involved with an ARHA club just because I live in Kentucky and I can go to a field trial almost any weekend I want in reasonable driving distance. AS far as how to start, the other club members can point you toward a few good dogs (or pups) for sale. Have fun.

If there is anything I can do to help you along, just let me know!

Poorboy,
Best of luck and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Just remember that it's all for fun and it's the hound that wins or loses, not the owner or handler. Now, I enjoy winning, but don't take trialing too serious or it won't be any fun. I enjoy going even if I don't take a hound - its the fellowship and those wonderful little hounds that make it enjoyable. :D
Again, best of luck and God Bless.
