I never saw Turbo but everything I saw out of him had above average hunt. The one rap I would have with personal experiance is coldtrailing but that could be who the dam was,I know that they don't all do that.I have heard that Turbo produced some that were better than himself. This is the first time I ever heard of lack of hunt.
turbo
I never saw Turbo run, but have seen a bunch out of him go. All that I have seen had at least average hunt, with most of them having above average hunt. As a matter of fact that is one trait that he seemed to stamp on all of his pups, so I would find it hard to believe that he lacked hunt. I have to agree with Bob on the cold trailing, I have seen quite a few out of him that would open early, most werent babbling fools but did pop off some, which could have come from the female side as well. He seemed to consistently throw powerful hounds with huge mouths that could run the snot out of a rabbit.

Black and Tans, Blue Ticks, and a few others bringing smoke
Swings right here, all the ones I got and Tony has go from the tailgate or they wont eat much feed here, cant speak for everyone tho, and as far as the cold trailing none of ours do it but that dont mean there aint some that dont tho.
When winter gets here your more than welcome to come see them go.
Tony is still running but I dont run this time of year.
While I am here I got a serious question to ask ( I know thats strange )
But Stone started having hemerroids ( sp ) at the end of season and if I ran him for a long time they would hang out and bleed. So after season I took him to the vet to have them checked, vet ran a test on him and busted them with his finger, said I should be fine.
Tony has been running him for me this summer and it is happening again , does anyone have any advice of what I need to do or has anyone seen this before?
Thanx
Trent

I own 2 from Turbo, and both hunt very hard.My female hunts on a continuous run,and yes i have seen both of mine bark before rabbits produced(not often),not what i would call babbling but a little quick to claim. Not enuff i can't live with, hard to give up the front end over one not being perfect
2 positive traits that i think turbo passed was hard hunt and foot,i've judged and ran against several turbo hounds and most of them showed the same traits and style of running a rabbit.

Does anyone know where i can get a dog from Turbo that will cold trail or as some of you say open a little early. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction of people who have Turbo dogs that are breeding the ones who open early. finwing@msn.com
Thanks!
Thanks!

Swing, I had a coon dog once that I thought had hemerroids. When I would let him loose to hunt he would have to dump a load like most males do before they can hunt. Anyway afterwards you could notice a little blood and something hanging out. I took him to the vet and told him I thought he had hemerroids. The vet told me that dogs don't get hemerroids and that it was a pollup. He operated on him for a minimal fee and that was the end of that. I owned him for several years and he never showed signs of it again. Dan

i have to admit, i do know some dogs that turbo threw that cold trail. You all know who you are. LOL But if you look at any of the hunt results in arha or akc, you will consistantly see Turbo on the sire side and also grandpups of turbo there also. Definitly throws awesome noses, hunt and foot.
True Blue or nothing.
