WAYNE, GOT YOUR MAIL I THINK POSTMAN WILL DO WELL,I LIKE THE WAY HE IS LINE BRED .I AM STILL WANTING TO BREED BELLA TO HIM' I HAVE A COUPLE OF MALES THAT COULD HAVE BEEN CALLED POSTMAN' THEY CARRY THE MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

Ole Wayne sure has run some Fat off him.
He says he is the cleanest mouthed dog he has seen in a while.

That hound Little cedar River Postman, is that George LaCoshire's breeding from the U.P. If i remember that was a red dog. But i thought that hound was gone?

This male is from George Lacoursier of Little cedar River Beagles.The Male is Little Cedar River Postman and his Date of Birth is March 22 1997 and color is Black Tan & White.He is 15 inches.He was out of Black Creek Little Man and Wilcon Cedar Phantom.George said he only ran in about 3 Large pack trials and placed 2 place in June 1999 at Menominee.after these trials he hurt is front leg and his trialing was over.The dog hasn't been run in a long time but I've ran him till he has hardly any toe tails.His front toes are bleeding and the dog has grit to spare.He doesn't cold trial and I've ran him till you can see his ribs.George said at one time on a 1 to 10 scale that he ran a 8,but ive not seen that yet.Probably won't with his age and front leg beening bad.He said for me not to give up to easy on him that he was just as good as some champions he made.He gave me the dog because he wasn't runing him and wanted some one to run him and breed him.He thinks he can be a good producer.

George is a very good friend of mine. He has had some of the best hare hounds in the U.P. in his day. I have a male out of F.C. Littleman and Little cedarriver Dinah. This male of mine is a great hare hound. More desire than any hound i have ever seen. Most of my breeding is out of george's bloodline. That hound postman has some impressive pedigree behind him. My male has sired a litter the xmas of 03. every single pup has turned out to be pretty good hounds so far. They are 15 months old and driving pretty good. Lets keep my fingers crossed and we will see at 2.5 years. One of the best hounds george had was Little CedarRiver Spring. She was high hound award winner for the LP on hare in 87-0r 88? not sure. I kept her for him for about 6 years. What a real pleasure That hound was. I breed one of my males with her Sir Bently II. Had one pup a female that turned out to be the best gun dog i have ever owned. I have shot over 2500 snowshoe from her in her 13 years i have had her. One of those once in a life time hounds. Rabbit Fever he also gave me Little Cedar River Marvel.She is out of FC Cedar Hollow Harebuster and Little cedar River Eva.Now Eva was out of Little Cedar River Spring.My son-in-law got interested in the articals that George wrote for Better Beagling and just had to have some of his pups.So in 1998 we bought two females and mine made a full racey 15 inch hound.She was a nice hound but never would come in heat.At 3 years old a Vet said give her a shot and she would come in then be regular from then on.We gave her a shot but no pups and then she died not long after that.Her back leg swelled up and died.Don't no what happened to her and she was on above kennel.George always said that he would give me her sister if he could get her to me.So he sent me both dogs.i love to hear him tell about dogs he has watched run.he wants to do a story on FC DOM"S DOUGIE for Better Beagling.

Grossw, I also had a female out of that litter Harebuster and Eva, i called her Miss Libby very good hare hound great handling dog. Sadly she got killed. I ran her in a field trail along with 4 other hounds in a snow trail in feb 03 . She did pretty good. But on the way home from the trail a young kid lost control of his truck and hit us head on allmost killing me and giving my 9 yearold daughter a 3 months stay in the intensive peds unit. She sufferd a sever trumatic brain injury. She was in a coma but came out of it and had to learn how to talk,walk eat all over again. I also lost Miss Libby that day she died in her dog box from a broken neck. Do you still have Marvel if you do i have the perfect sire for her. Boy would i like to have a pup out of her. She has B.J's swimmer as her grandfather. BJ's Swimmer was a top producing hound. I think that was his last breeding before he died. George just gave me Little Cedar River Marvel with Little Cedar River Postman.I had the mate to her that died.her name was Little Cedar River Trixie.I was going to breed Postman to Marvel and i have a Male that I always wanted to breed to Trixie.Marvel came in heat just after i got her and I breed her last week to my male Kingwood's T Rex .Rex turned 12 years old in march and has been a good producer and if you go back in his pedigree it goes to Mt Zion Pete and Marvel goes back at least 12 times mt zion Pete and 5 times of Dom's Dougie.I'll line breed her closer next time.If Postman keeps going like he does than I'll breed him to her.

That male i have is out of Littlecedar River Billy C and Little Cedarriver Nickie. That was out of FC Little cedarriver Liverpool on the bottom side the top side was FC BlackCreek Littleman and LCR Dinah. Then to FClittleCedarRiver Shorty. Wich was an excelent hound. On the bottom side goes back to FC Doms Dougie, FC Ausable Schnapps. So my male has some great blood and he is a very good hare hound as well. Boy Im glad i read your post. Tom I've tried to fine out more on Black Creek Little Man.Did you ever watch him run.They say he ran in the 13 inch class and 15 inch class and finished in the 15 inch class.Judy Lemon said she keep Little Man and also Postman's Dam and ran them on cottontails.She said they were real good hounds.She said Black Creek little Man was about 14 1/2 inches.He had to be pretty Quick to finish in big males.he also had a first in the Mid-West trials.
