I had the best running of the year this morning. The Barometric pressure was 30.08 and falling. I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.
Did anyone else have good running this morning?

It's been really bad here. Until last night, the dogs never shut up, and went out of hearing twice. I think it had something to do the high pressure system that we had. There is a low pressure system that came in sometime yesterday and the rabbits ran like crazy.
Later Catfish.

I've had some great runs lately. A friend and I went out Saturday morning, started about 6:30. The dew was very heavy but running was no better than average until the dew dried off. Then the running picked up. They drove the rabbits in big circles until about 11:00 and then my buddies kitchen pass expired and he had to leave.

It seemed like the dew helped us this morning.
Time to go to work.

Take care,

The running has been almost to good here. The rabbits are running big and crazy no pattern to thier running at all. Almost got a couple dogs killed the other day as they were putting the heat on one and it left the country and ran right down the ditch line of a hard top road. This fat boy almost had a heart attack trying to run them down before the rabbit crossed the raod again to get back home.

Glad to hear you guys are having some running. Here in MI there is a closed season on running any dogs in the wild from April 15 thru July 15.
The only exceptions are in training pens or a licsensed field trial.

Man that is awful. Herein VA my old man got a ticket for running his dogs without a license. He didnt think he needed a license without a gun. It takes a cold hearted game warden to write up a 70 year old man.
