Dingus Bloodline Question...

Post by xdawg »

A pup i recently purchased out of speedysport x threejays jack smokey seems to have somewhat longer hair... Its still a beagle, just alittle longer hair then i'm use to. Anyways, neither parent has this style of hair...(its mainly just a touch longer on the shoulds and neck...) Anyways, the breeder mentioned it could be some of the Dingus blood in the pups, i was wondering if anyone else has ever noticed anything like this about dingus blood?

Thanks,
Jack

I've had a few from this bloodline (Dingus) and all had very thick and somewhat longer coats. Not a bad thing in cold climates.

I,ve got 2 young males with Dingus blood and their hair is the longest I've ever seen on a Beagle. You really notice it on their haunches and bellies. Mine might struggle with the heat here in NC.

Dingus bloodline is relatively hare hound. It's always a possiblity for the long hair with Dingus. I've had three and they all had it; real good dogs; just ugly!!
