Hey, Im from Va too. I wouldnt worry much about the pups until they are 3 1/2 weeks old. then I would worm them 1 time per week. I give a 7 way 1 week after weaning as well, I wouldnt wait more than 1 week after weaning for the 7 way because of parvo.

Rfd brand will work I give a chapstick cap or 1cc to a 3 1/2 week old with no problems. sometimes Walmart has the RFD. I also get it at my farm store.

7 way dog shots

I have had trouble giving the 7 way shot to just weaned pups. Some of them will break with coccidiosis. I prefer to give a 5 way shot until they are at least 6 months old. My vet says that it is the lepto in the shot that causes this.
