running dog

my beagle runs rabbits and deer but he only sites chase now after he s chased the deer this was about a year in half now but he used to do both site chase and nose chase i was running him last night i kick up a cottontail and he didn;t see it the first ime but i brought him on the sent and he did nothing just walked the other way what should i do.

R U WANTING TO RUN DEEER WITH THEM TOO? IF NOT GET AN E COLAR THAT WILL HELP AND UR GONNA HAVE SOME GOOD SCENT DAYS AND BAD SOMETIMES THEY CANT HARDLY SMELL A RABBIT FOR SOME REASON WHEN THAT HAPPEN I JUST GO BACK TO THE HOUDSE AND TRY NEXT TIME AND THEY ALWAYS SHINE THE NEXT TIME IF THAT HAPPENS BUT IT SHOULDS NOT HAPPEN VERY OFTEN OR I WOULD GET ANOTHER DOG!
