That is very sad news. I am so sorry for the loss. He is the one we need to thank. It is an honor to serve. I have almost completed my year in Iraq and hope to be home soon. But no thank yous are needed here. Just doing my job. And I am sure most others would say the same thing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

1/201st FA. A Nat Guard unit out of WV. We are acting as MP's right now. Would much rather be sending some steel rain down range!

Yeah LOL I understand.
Funny how your MOS gets all blurred after you get deployed huh.
Stay safe over there.
Are you on a stop loss right now?

Of course. I think it is a 90 day. The bad part is, I just re enlisted last Sept for 6 years and in Nov we got activated. I kick myself everyday! I had to reelist to keep my job, but I wish I wouldnt have went for 6. Listened to someone who didnt know what they were talking about. Now my ETS is 2009. OUCH

20Sep85 to 15May95 (with a 6 month early out) and Clinton was trying to put as many people out as he could. That is where the budget surplus came from.... Funny how things swing from one extreme to the other. May God bless you all over there and keep you safe. You may be forgotten by some, but not by the ones that really matter.
