Collar that dogs won't chew

I have two pups that keep chewing the collar off of other dogs in the kennel. So far, I have used the day-glow style collars. I do not like choke-chain style collars because they do not accommodate a name plate. Is there another collar material collar that accommodates a name plate that the dogs can't chew off?
