Female Heat Question

Anyone here have experience with a female over 2 1/2 years old that has never come in heat? This dog is in excellent health, good weight, no thyroid issues that I know of or ancestors that had cycling issues. What's the latest age you've ever seen them come in for the first time? She's been with males and other females in heat. Thanks for any input!

I asked my vet why my females did not come into heat regularly. He said that a female that is hunted and kept in tip top athletic shape year round, will not come into heat as often. But why your female has not come into heat in 2.5 years, I don't know what would cause that. Sorry I could not be of more help.
