Treated myself to a new Garmin Alpha 100/TT 15 mini for Christmas. Bought my unit from Chuck Prather at Plum Creek Kennel Supply. Thanks Chuck! Everything has worked flawlessly. Pretty much got the basics down so far. What an awesome tool! Lot of peace of mind knowing where the dogs are at all times. One question though. When I touch the screen a red push pin appears with the coordinates of the spot on the screen that was touched. Not a real big deal but it is a little annoying. Is there any way to shut this off? Also a smaller blue push pin appears at my dogs position. Again this is really not a big deal but it somewhat obscures the dog information.

Happy running to all in 2016!

I always have mine on the compass....I like knowing the direction, yards, and can switch from dog to dog pretty quick

I just figured this out myself today!!

Okay, when you see the pointer come up it is because you double clicked the screen somehow. In the top right corner (of the screen) you should see an x thing that is shaded, if you touch it, the stupid pin thing goes away!

Hope it helps.
