Cod Liver Oil

Has anyone used cod liver oil to help straighten out a dogs legs. Or what is some other good ways your can straighten a dogs legs out?

U talking bout a pup or grown dog ? Seen pups with crooked legs where age, sunlight ( vitamin D ) or actually giving it vitamin D in a supplement helps . IMO a grown dog with this ( bench legged ) , you can't fix it . It's genetics . This is a fault , I would not breed dogs with this , no one should .

Ive used it on pups it realy helps them imo. it also works wonders on a pup that gets rickets ,clears it up fast

puppies just weaned can get rickets witch is a calcium def. can be given calcium pills . i don't know of anything to straighten a grown dogs legs .

outsider , I totally agree cod liver oil is good for any dog , espeicially their coats . But I don't see it fixing a grown dogs bowed legs . As for rickets my vet told me it's a vit D defenicy I could see it helping that but not the grown dog .
