Plott Hound killed yesterday (8-14-13)
West U.P / Wisconsin border.
The guy runs both sides.

Killed very similar to JCM's dog.

i say hunters need do go after the D N R looking for compensation..... dog licences used to provide insurance on a hound....

I think the Dnr wants to run the hunter out of the u.p so the rich can build big homes up there. It can be the Hampton of Michigan in the summer . I call Michigan little California with high taxes!

i say when deer season comes in kill u a deer and get what u want off the deer hang the rest from a tree and get u a tree stand and sit and wait with a AR-15 & a 250 round drumb and get ur revenge on them sorry outfits!!!!!!

I saw on tv the other day a thing about hunting wolves. If they would let hunters start killing off some every year from known dog killing packs, a lot of the killing would stop. Especially if they used dogs as the bait to lure them in. I think they said that is how they do it in Canada I believe.

i would not run my dogs where i set snares...them wolf hunt that area all THE TIME it is there hunting grounds..
a wolf will kill any other animal that hunts territory. THEY ARE NOT KILLING THEM DOGS CAUSE THEY ARE HUNGREY. THERE NOT KILLING THEM DOGS CAUSE THEY ARE HUNGREY. THEY ARE KILLING THEM FOR HUNTING IN THERE TERRITORY......

IF THEY ARE HUNGREY THEY WILL HUNT YOU

GA? yeah i was bumbed out i could not make it down. it was on my ladys time off work. i spen so much time in the woods that she has certain days i am not allowed to run dogs. she calls it her time and i learned to respect that

if i dont make it i will drive down a day just to run with you and buck. i really dont get to run the weekend anymore unless i slip out in the early morning...

Sorry to see an here about your hounds. you should write down with all your hounds picture and what them wolf pack did to the and what each hound was worth and take the DNR. A bill. will not bring the hounds back but maybe they due some more about thin the wolf pack and keep the from happening again JUST my thought
