I always considered myself from being from KY just because i was born and raised here, but after talking to bill I'm not sure because my mother was born in OH, so maybe that makes me a buckeye I'm not sure. If anyone knows the requirements to be called a Kentucian please let me know so I can see if I qualify.
That is funny.

A lot of people, keep bringing up the fact, that Reggie was bred so many times over other hounds, and that the percentages are what counts! But tell me this why has he been bred so many many times to field hunters? No one on this board has come up with the number of the winning dogs out of Reggie in all formats, I am sure his numbers would advance over most of the dogs you have mentioned, not to take away any of their accomplishments. I personally don't care of his first adventure to the north, but I see he has accomplished IFC before his name. He sure has been desired to put the blood in peoples kennels, that they needed to advance their own personal needs. I"M sure a lot of people here in good ol ky, would invite you to bring your best and compete with their hounds here on cottontails.

all my hounds run cotton tale. hare is a treat. why would i drive all the way down there and run. u boys got the badest hounds on the planet, i think it's time for u guys to put some cash up. see if your mouths and hounds are heavier then your wallet. i will travel to southern MI northern ohio for some of this action, how about u?

here are the rules

1 we score on jump

2 we score on drive

3 we score on checks

4 off game gets automatic boot

5 fighting gets automatic boot( the hound that started it)

pretty simple rules, lets make this happen before hunting season? i am sure we can get a few more MI guys that want in.

Bring your wallet and come to North Carolina. I could use some cash. But lets add a few rules.

1 - If a dog stands around for 20 mins. (If so they get the boot)

2 - Have to run for 5 hrs before we even score them. (if so they get the boot)

3 - Has to be this month while we still are in the good summer months.

I am not even in the battle but man I love to gamble. I have owned them from Canada to NC. They only get so good. Not saying I got a stud dog. But I got a good rabbit dog and they are in shape.

I do not care if you bring a red wolf, poodle, great dane, or a beagle. But he better be broke!

Bill, if you are so sure of yourself, you will win your gas money back, and pay for your time, I am sure these folks that have Reggie blood in their kennel will oblige you...Just don't blame me if your dogs get their butt kicked. A lot of great hounds have came from the state of ky in several formats, can you prove the fact about MI? Oh by the way several questions have been asked but no answer. WHY?

I think this is a fair statement.... Reggie will go down as one of the best regardless of what anyone says and Reggie will also go down as the king of the most talked about beagle in history.
