Brian, Chief and I had a nice time out. No rabbit to be found, but it was quality time with him. I was able to introduce him to Cujo and Sarah; they all did well. Unfortunately, we lost our Ruby last night...she was hit on Tyrrell. How she ever got out on her own is a mystery. Our neighbor was the one that hit her, and he brought her home to me; I was thankful. (man, it's depressing). It was good for Chief to be here for us, he relieved some of the pain. Take care and hope your day was a good one. Keena

Thanks Brandon. It's very hard right now, but we're doing okay. It just seems weird without her here. I know it will get better, but it does take awhile. Thanks again for caring. Keena

I just wanted to update everyone on the wild game dinner/fund raiser. We had the biggest turnout yet, the food was excellant, they raised close to $3,000 for the cause. I want to put on here a special thanks to Andy [ I never got his last name], he came through with a bunch of elk meat, rabbits, red stag and whatever else he could find. Without him we would not have had enough for the turnout. The VFW hall we were at only holds 125 people, I think we had over 150 crammed in it. Once again thank you on behalf of the "HUNTERS WHO CARE" to all who contributed. Brian.

Brian, what are you doing on Friday? I was wondering if I could run Pacer with you so I could get use to his sound. Also, check out "Really cool hunting story," what a picture and story. Take care, and let me know what you think. K

Just wondering who all is going to Homer Beagle Club this weekend for their Wolverine classic. I'll be there on Saturday for sure, depends on how I do if I'll be there Sunday. It might be a little cold in the am, but should be great around noon, don't know if I'll take my grand or not. I'll figure it out when I load them in the morning. I jumped 3 rabbits last night, put the first 2 down quick, ran the 3rd for 1 1/2 hours, had plenty of lines, and can see great with the snow. Brian.
