Right, but I was wondering what the cross was supposed to add to the beagle breed?

Better nose or what?
There aint Any Bluetick Coon Hound in 99% of Bluetick beagles they were named for that because of thier Color they wernt all Tricolored ya know..
What about the black and tans Do they have Black and tan Coonhound in them??
the red ones are they part Setter??

Id always been told they were crossed with blueticks and just assumed it was correct.

I hate to admit Im that gullible. :oops:

I was just messing around about part bluetick coon dog in bluetick beagle. the guys i work with call my dogs small coon dogs , no matter what i tell them they still say thier not beagles. more than just tri's out there

the older two are out of canebreaker booger an crows mary local dogs got some Ringold an a little Branko in them . the two pups that are together are out of loudmouth buck an cherokees katie they are from arkansas. most my blues are from local dogs no real big names in there bloodlines but they can still run a rabbit

OK gang, your all getting me hooked on the looks of these blueticks, especially with faces like the Eightball pups. Joe P's all blues are awesome. How do you think one would look running with a pack of lemon and white Patch hounds?
