NChunter .Most of ours are 14 plus but we have a little male coming on that I think is gonna end up between 12 and 13 .Just trying to decide if I am gonna keep him solely for AKC or whether I am gonna try and campaign him in ARHA too..Thanks for your response.

Mike, you are right about that cast. You failed to say I tried to buy Chrome - you did not take my offer but I still have that little bleutick and we will still run for fun if you want. I don't mind getting beat by dog power. I'll have to say, even losing that was one of the best 2 dog races I ever heard. Bobbymike crabtree wrote:Cant say size has beat me. LPB & RCh L&LBleu Girl, still a proud member of the ROWCO Beagle kennel (winner in Big Pack, Little Pack, and state hunts against big dogs. I like and keep mostly 14+ hounds but this little dog is special.

I am new to this and want to try some taller hounds but I have seen a small female a while back that was smoking fast!

We can not have the same dogs in all cases,but it does not matter 10'' up to 20'' if that dog fits my pack run them.Beagle are pack hounds i look at what they can do to help my pack then size.I know i do not have no world beatters,but i sure can kill about ever rabbit they get on.Sizes only matter to the person who feeds them.JMO Billy
