Firing it up in a month!! Just rounded out my pack with a potent 3 year old female out the great state of Kentucky. My dad just bought a squirrel dog and we will break her out next weekend!! Hope all have a great and safe year!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty excited about this years season!

Were going to start things off right with a trip to Missouri to see how things are done over there.

I have two weeks of vacation planned to make a run north for a snowshoe hare hunt.

We have 4 trials to attend this fall.

Should be a great season!

Checking in here Joeyman. My gun season is totaly up in the air. I have a whole bunch of young hounds to gun hunt this season to see who makes the "gun dog" grade. I've already went through my preseason culling and it's time to get serious with what I have left. HA! Thanks Hounddog! This pup is starting to become a high hound on my list also. He has started to jump his own rabbits well. I would say I like several qualities equally about him. First and foremost he has the hunt I need in him. Next is his HUGE nose with a dead clean mouth. And when I mean mouth, I mean mouth. He has this GOD awful loud bawlin chop that I can pick out of any pack I've run him with. He isn't a front runner but cleans up a good long hard check and stays close and clean on the line and in the check area working it inside out. There's something about him that I just really like and see. I have a sister of his to that I also like real well. She has an extra bark in the check area but that's about it. Otherwise, she's about the same but with more foot and not as big of a mouth. She's a smooth running female that seems to just run right through a check not breaking down long at all. Thanks Joeyman!! It's up to you but I would love for a few of those future pictures to be in MO. How about it? Let me know if I could come over for a hunt and when would be a good time. It'd probably just be me and my newphew or just me and some of my pack.

HAHA! Joeyman, Don't tell me to bring a truck load of dogs becuase I would probably take it a bit overboard. LMAO!!!! Off the top of my head I can think of about 15 hounds I'd load up for the trip. Here's my line up, Hoppy, Dinger, Sydney, Alibi, Spook, Addy, Drum, Piece, Dusty, Pride, Rebel, Morgan, Brady, Minnie, Raven, and maybe # 16 Screamer, #17 Style, and #18 Sible. Just ask some of my buddies I "try" to get to run with me. They're always cring about me bring too many with me to run. Well throw out some dates at me and I'll tell ya when I'll be there.

lol.......thats alot of dogs. Don't forget i've got a few poop eaters to add to the mix. 20 hounds on the ground. Yeah that would be split running for sure. We might have a hard time keeping track of that many unless you want to rotate out.

anytime would be cool with me. early november 5th 6th or 7th try and do a two day hunt. that way we can try different places. $11 a day for non-resident small game. you'll have to come up with a way to house hounds i'm sure you got a way to do that.

Nov 13-15th i'll be bambi hunting. after that is back to rabbit whacking. the further into october we get the more for sure I will know. like where to go and what days. but early november seems good. if you can stay out here for the weekend. even a friday saturday deal or something. or sat/sun that way we'll go to different places I know.
