Dog Food Poll

Was feeding the Pride 26/20 but have switched to the Pride 24/20. I run pretty hard most of the time so I start with 2 cups. Usually that is suffecient for most dogs but like others have said , You have to treat each dog as an individual.

All Raw diet. Mostly ground Beef and beef fat scraps with eggs now and then with some chicken here and there with pheasant backs, thighs and legs. Been feeding raw for about four months now and it's the best I've found yet. I don't get all fancy with it like some on here do and the dogs are better than ever. They seem to hold up better when run long hour’s day in and day out. If I don't run them for a day or two there weight goes up so I only feed every other day when I'm not running them and they still do great on it. Stool is a ton better with a lot less of it. I give them bones about every day to. May not be a whole lot but it keeps there teeth clean and jaws strong and not to mention keeps them busy chewing and not pacing in the kennel or barking from boredom when not being run which isn't often. It's a lot cheaper for me as I can get all the out of date ground beef chuck and fat scraps from a buddy of mine that works in the local meat market. It started to get quite costly when I was up to 30 plus hounds with dog food. Now I'm down to 14 or 15 and I still like the raw over dog food even if I can afford the kibble. What I like best about it is when a dog doesn’t eat you know it's sick for sure because they all seem to LOVE the raw diet better than anything else I've fed before. Sorry to go on and on but that's my answer to the dog food poll question. LOL.

I feed Diamond green bag 26/18 every other day 1 11 1/2 oz. coffee can full. When running hard and everyday I give a 1/2 can on the off day's.
