Looking at your short list, I've lived in the KC metro area since 96 and called Columbia, MO home before that (born and raised mid-MO). Loved Columbia while I was there and KC's the only metro I'd consider at this point in my life (Dallas is my favorite but never relocated there when I was younger and more ambitious). Overall, KC seems to have a more conservative image than our metro counterparts on the east side of MO, but it's still citylife and my plans now are to move as far out of the metro as I can tolerate to commute (preferrably north). Good luck with wherever you chose to relocate!

I live in Southwestern IN and its a nice place to live, but if I were to ever move, it would probably be South to Kentucky. Met some fine beaglers in that state and all treated me real nice, even though I'm a Hoosier. Where TC lives is absolutely beautiful. One thing that impresses me about Kentucky is the roads. They seem to all be paved. More crooked than the hind leg of a dog, but paved. Roads are a lot nicer than IN. Lots of rabbits here in Southern IN, but I bet there's a lot in Western KY too. Coal mine ground getting harder and harder to access here in IN too.

Why do they wait until somebody dies before puttin' 'em into a Hall of Fame? I'd think they would appreciate it more if it were done when they were alive. I could never understand funeral flowers, either. If you're going to give me flowers, send them to me while I'm alive, lol.

Sorry. Carry on.

LMAO!!! A poster just PM'd me and goes, "Dang...did he die? I just suggested a place to live and he died?"

In my post I was referring to Bill Monroe being put into the Hall of Fame after he was done gone....and that led me to gettin' flowers after you're done gone...and I've had a few Skinny-Ritas tonight so I guess I'm done gone...lol. I think NYhillbilly's still with us.

This is the great "hillbilly" speaking from the land beyond!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boooooooooooooooo! Nice going Bev! You downed a couple "Skinny _ Ritas" and buried a fat hillbillly all in one night. Not bad for a day afield! On a rather spooky coincidental side note however, I just read this after spending 6 hours in the University hospital's ER for what I thought was kidney stones or a dreaded worse outcome. Glad I read this after and not before that trip or I might have chickened out. Turns out the reason I can barely stand from pain in my flank is due to something blown out in my back, after helping breakup an assault against one of our nurses a few months ago. It does not make the pain less but was a lot easier to swallow than what I was afraid it was. Looks like I'm still with y'all. And with the good Lords blessing for some time to come. :D
