Gosh! I thought we were talking about Tritronics customer service and range problems. Why do post always go in this direction? I thought that these forums were here to share experiences and offer help. Its a shame but I too have been rubbed the wrong way once or twice. I guess we are only human.

I dare anyone to strap on my Trashbreaker g2 within a mile and a half of where I am standing . I have never had a problem with mine. A buddy and I tested with a truck and two way radios. You must have got somebody that was having a bad day. I know of people who got bad transmitters, but TT made it right pretty quick. I tested one that only shocked 100 feet, then we programmed his collars onto my transmitter and were getting better than a mile in heavy cover. Good luck getting it straight.

I know Buddy well enough to know if he says he has a problem, with his transmitter, he is having a problem And I also know he is not a rude individual,I had discussed this range problem with him a couple of weeks ago, because I had heard others complaining about the same thing.I have been satisfied with mine and I think I told him to call customer service because they treated me fairly when I had a problem with a charging cradle and the person I talked to sent me a new cradle ,no charge or shipping and told me not to bother to send the old one back.Obviously someone different talked to Buddy,I do think TT is having some quality control issues with their G2 series and it needs to be addressed,I would not hesitate to call customer service and talk to them again and if I got treated rudely I would ask to talk to a supervisor and let them know how I had been treated and see if I couldn't get some different results,I believe Buddy has a problem with his equipment and I also believe TT will make it right If he talks to the right people and whoever mentioned the collar thieves is right. I lost one recently and think some one got both dog and collar,I am moving up to the Trash breaker Transmitter with my collars and It is because I want more range,Any way hang in there buddy and if you have to talk to every warm body at TT till You get your transmitter fixed or repaired,Denny Ray

Keep trying TriTronics is a great company, even great companies have some bad employees. You must have got stuck with one of them when you called. I had a Thrashbreaker G2 3-dog system that worked great, the range was 1+ mile I never tested beyond that to see if it had a full 2 mile range. I have a Thrashbreaker G2 EXP now and have tested it to 1+ mile as well and it works great as well, so it's not that all the TriTronics products aren't any good, you just got a bad one. I am sure if you keep communicating with TriTronics they will make this right.

Mine is expandable, but it was the first model g2 exp. I got it right after it came out from Collar Clinic. I actually bought it used and they had only been out for a few months. It does look slightly different than the newer ones. It has been a devastator and has set more than a few brash young trainees back on the right track so to speak. It is a dangerous tool and not to be taken lightly if used improperly you could call it the "Willbreaker". Again good luck getting yours replaced.

Thanks Denny Ray I really apppreciate the kind words  .
I just want my problems taken care of and I will be very happy
with my system . I love it besides the range issue and the burnt
out cradle . I will try and I will ask for a supervisor if I'm treated
badly again . That's a great idea !!!

Thanks to you too Dixiedog and thanks to all of you that supported
me and the ones that didn't see things my way . I'm happy for all
of you that have a properly working product and hope the ones of
us who don't , get that taken care of .

Thanks to Bev for giving me a number to reach a better CS rep .

If anyone took my Indiana vs KY dogs seriously I'm sorry . I know
there are great dogs every where but I'm still partial to KY  .

I may not agree with everyone and sometimes have fun disagreeing
but I can still love you  .

KY puts out big talent like Billy Ray Cyrus. They better have some dog power........
On a serrious note..lol, I like my G2's but not as much as my older Classic 70's. I have had one problem with the transmiter on the new one and I called TT. They sent me out a new one and told me how to set it with my collars. All they asked of me was to send my broken one back in the package they sent.

alright ,I wanted to keep out of this KY-IN thing you got goin on here but you had to start in on our singers, you obviously forgot to mention Keith Whitley,Ricky Skaggs, Larry Cordle,Dwight Yokum,Patty Loveless,Montgomery -Gentry,James Michael Montgomery,Steve Wariner,Crystal Gail,oh yeah ya ever hear of a woman named Loretta Lynn,What about Rebecca Lynn Howard, and a whole host of Bluegrass acts that you probably never heard of .You might have heard of the Tommy Webb Band Since they have played the Indiana State Fair several times, and what about an old boy from Olive Hill, Tom T. Hall. These are just some of the big talent that goes along with Billy Ray who I applaud for being another Hillbilly who made the big time ,even if I don't particularly like most of his music. And by the way does Indiana have a whole class of music named after it.I really don't think Indie music was named after Indiana.(it is short for independent in case you don't know). But I do know Bill Monroe named Bluegrass after Good old KY,And I left out a bunch of very good singers that use their God given talents in Small churches all over the Commonwealth,And I have heard some mighty fine hound music ringing out over these hills and I'm Just a nobody Rabbit Hunter From Eastern Ky who could care less about FCs and GRCH an HOFs.But have had the opportunity to gun over some of the finest Git-r Done RABBIT DOGS owned by people you probably never heard of,I'M not saying you don't have fine dogs, I don't even know you,But i would like for you to come here and hunt with us I'm not Being mean when I say that, but i think you would Love it and leave here with a smile on your face and telling every one of your buddies how good we treated you,At least i would try to make you feel that welcome, and I suspect the it would be the same if I came out there, I believe what THE BOOK says about if you want to have friends to show yourself friendly,Come and see us ,Denny
