The bottom line is the pup will likely run rabbits, it will never know who it's daddy is, and unless it is royalty in line for the throne the pedigree doesn't mean a whole lot to the owner and absolutely nothing to me.

Dont know much about the fire, but A hunting buddy of mine just paid alot of money to get a pup down and here. They sent him a picture of the one he was SUPPOSED TO GET, and when he got it, it was a totally different pup. He is still to this day waiting on the Krpan's to send him his papers. Greenbay i Dont know what happen between you and the krpan's but, I am on your side, even though most of the dogs i have in my kennel are branko. I am in the process of going to Speedy sport. And i have a question, why/how did this fire happen? And why did it just happen to be when AKC was getting ready for DNA testing?

I try to just monitor and stay out of the middle, but this stuff just astounds me. You don't know what happened between them but you've already chosen sides?

On the rest of it, bluetickbeagle, why don't you simply pick up the phone and call the Krpans if you want to know about the fire? Their number is published. You think Joe knows something the Krpans don't? LOL. Joe admitted he just THOUGHT they burnt their own kennel full of their prized brood dams and their tiny puppies because they were worried about what an American registry was going to do to a Canadian kennel. Never you mind the stud dogs whose DNA would eventually be traced back to survived. What kind of sausage logic is that?

What is CKC's position on DNA testing? Is is mandantory on studs dogs or all dogs and if so what year was this rule initiated?

Bev, why are you kissing butt. What do you want from Branko? You're supposed to just be the moderator. I will call Branko this evening when i have time. And what would AKC do to a CKC Kennel. They wont allow any transfers from the Krpan's. Witch means BRANKO will have NO new blood lines, in US. We dont pay $600-$1000 for paper work to burn. So its just my opion.

If you boys are going to the dark side . Better go back about 7 generations to find something without the name tagged on it . Its very unforunate that the dogs they ran or had ran for them get there name muddy. If someone on this board knows something the rest of us peons dont obviously it aint a secert. I am not by any means promoting eiether side i guess i just dont understand why anybody would stoop that low .Most indians i know knew how to cover there tracks better than most.....But this is a huge accusation .....Greenbay dont know you from the next, i too was accused of paperwork taboo. They lost no evidence.Accusing aint proving. I personally think akc is a joke. I dont have but maybe 4-5 dogs or pups a year and there more of a hassle than filing taxes.I dont like dealing with them at all. I cant imagine being across the border and dealing with several hundred animals a year. I guess the truth will set ya free someday....... Hope this all resolves itself quickly before they call the almighty turbo a grade dog ...

Could also be some jealousy involved ,burning up their best brood blood and puppies That makes a lot of sense .They have worked hard and made it a long way back to being successful again,that took a lot of heart and work ,I give them a lot of credit.
