we wear Wolverine boots all year here and love them
they are waterproof as well as warm for hunting
can get different weight s of insulation and some that are under 3 lbs a pair and they are reasonably priced at cabelas
some Sportsmans guide catalogs have them also at better prices
once in awhile

I wear my redwing steeltoes that I also wear at work. Waterproof and as comfy as they get. If its real muddy, I'll throw the rubber Lacrosse boots on.

I wear muck boots and really enjoy them. I tuck my jeans inside them and usally wear a pair of Gander Mt. upland game hunting pants over top on theoutside of them. Seems to be a very good combo for me.

Joey, the muck boots do not tighten up on the top, they pretty naturally fit your leg and by the time you tuck any pants in there is really no way for any thing to get in there.
