Terry, is your Dad going to be there?
Are you guys bringing the big dogs. I am just bringing the 4 month old pup. She is running and has jumped a few rabbits so far and ran with the pack (Belle & Blue). I really don't want tp put her down with a big back of mature hounds. I was hoping we could run young dogs. ??? If Terry wanted to the bring Gage "the old man" he might be good to have with them young dogs to teach them a lesson or two.
I know Belle and Blue would drive them rabbits out into the neighborhood like they did the last the time I was there. Too small of an area to run the mature hounds but great place with hundreds of rabbits to jump for the young ones.
btw, it is suppose to rain next Thursday and Friday and cool off. Would be an excellent Saturday to run the big dogs at Woodbury next Saturday morning.
What say you?

Ed, I will not have a lot of running time this weekend so I am bringing Jaws & Blue. They will be in the field at 7:00.

Fasteddy & the dark one, next saturday at groveport if you really want to run, PM me and I will send directions. It's a big enough place for all of the dogs.

OK Rod, you win :!: I am bringing Blue. Anna May at 4 months old just is a bit young to run with a large pack; although, I am tempted. :D
Blue is under 11 months old but runs like an older hound so it should be no problem for him. I am also curious to see if he will run with a large of strange hounds. Needless to say, it will be a good experience for him. It took Belle three times out before she would run with a large pack of dogs she was not familiar with. Should be fun. See you and Terry at the lot around 7:00 AM.

He ran with them but never showed his potentiel and was a little tight mouthed. Sometimes there were more than one rabbit being ran and we had split packs from time to time. It was all new to my boy. He was in heaven with all those females and I am not sure but one of them may have been close to coming in heat. Not bad for his first time running with strange dogs in a different neighborhood in hot dry conditions. Probably take him a few trips out of his element for him to shine. All in all it was a good experience for him and I had a blast. Too bad Terry had to go to cheer leading practice so we only ran for a few hours. ;)
I talked to Rod and we may run at Richardson Rd. this Saturday. Belle will be along this trip. My little 4.5 month is really coming along well, heck, I may bring all three. If anyone wants to run let me know. Only thing I ask is if your dog is prone to run trash please leave it at home. I haven't had any problems with trash and I want to keep it that way.

I will not run younger dogs agian at Richardson Rd. That place is a joke. The last three times i have been there never had a jump (after three hours). I have a ton of other honey holes that have rabbits that are perfect for younger pups! I will say everytime i have had Sport there the pack has produced rabbits, but when i take the younger pups they never seem to find anything or get a track worked out enough to run it. That place is so ran up and there is like one rabbit per 10 acres.

i think the last time Terry and I where there we came across a pack of deer dogs.
