Are you kidding?.......wolves dont like to tolerate canine intruders of any kind in territory they deem their own. This kind of behavior is not out of the ordinary. Contrary to what tree huggers have tried hard to have the general public believe, predators do enjoy huntng and killing (just like we do) and if given an opportune moment will seize it.
It's not that life is short......it's just that we're dead for such a long, long time...

If you are referring to Cameron he does not have any dogs. As far as
I can tell he doesn't like them. I don't believe that he had anything to do
with this. There were significant increases in game this year and I wonder
if the wolf population is not up on Drummond this year also. I believe
that I read some where that the wolf is a very smart animal and changes
quickly to the situations or enviornment. I wonder if they were not
studying what was going on the first few weeks of the season with all
the beagles on Drummond and after a few weeks passed began to
attack beagles. It will be interesting to see if the wolves increase their
attacks and become more brave and open.
I believe that the two incidents where the dogs were found were
wolf attacks but the incidents where the dogs did not come back and
were never found one can only speculate what happened. My point
is that alot of dogs came up missing or killed this year as compared
to years in the past.

I know that Rick got Jazz killed on plains.Where did other guy lose his dog. Do you think that one wolf has a taste of blood or is more involved.
