:shhh: My husband don't know how many dogs I have. Frankly, sometimes I have to take off my shoes to count 'em myself. Now, SB, don't you go telling on me either cause I got the goods on you, lmbo!!! By the way, I don't know how many guns my hubby has either. He does like me. Just brings one home and puts it up and when asked where it come from ya just say it was here all the time.

I have the best husband in the world and wouldn't trade him for the best rabbit dog in the world. Well, maybe a pack of em,lol. Just kidding! :dopey:

You know, the strangest thing happened. He used to complain about my Labs ALL the time, (this man who never had a dog of his own). He would always accuse me of loving my dogs more then him. I told him, my dogs love me always, no matter what. Then I got him a Patch beagle. Then we got his Mom a Patch beagle. Then I got a Patch beagle. NOW when I cant find him in the grocery store...I just go look in the pet aisle. He buys more dog treats then I have in 30 years of training dogs. He has even designed our next home, with dogs in mind. Go figure. I believe the man is hooked!! ;)

I found the best way to steer clear of this and other related problems is to never get married in the first place. I speak from experience; I'm 51 years old, long flowing salt and pepper hair, with a goodyear spare tire, set in my own ways... Shoot, I'm in the clear now!!! There's is no way that someone will want me now! By the way, I'm not a hippy, I'm a flower child!!!

WHEN WE WERE DATEING MY WIFE TOLD ME, YOU THINK MORE OF THOSE DOGS THAN YOU DO OF ME & I'M TIRED OF PLAYING SECOND FIDDLE TO A BUNCH OF DOGS. I TOLD HER IF SHE WOULD LEARN TO RUN A RABBIT MY OPINION OF HER WOULD IMPROVE. AS FAR AS SECOND FIDDLE, WHEN IT CAME TO THOSE DOGS, SHE WAS darn LUCKY TO BE IN THE BAND. BUT 43 YEARS LATER 75% OF THE TIME WHEN I GET READY TO FEED THE DOG FOOD IS MADE. SOMETIME SHE EVEN FEEDS THEM IF I'M LATE. NEVER A PROBLEM ANYMORE, I GUESS SHE'S BROKE IN NOW. LOL

I thought I was the only one with this problem! Persistance my friends, persistance. I still have dogs and my wife. Yesterday was nine years, never thought we would have made it because the dogs aren't going anywhere. It pays to be bullheaded occasionally. Sometimes you get the bear................sometimes the bear gets you so check back with me in a couple of years. Good luck to all.
