Ihope you do will. I was in the pen again today,the hounds got split. Ivy was runnin by herself, she was coming through the woods, looked to my right and the Black Yote was standing lookin at her. He saw me then took off. Might a been a good thing I was there.

My daughter and I were researching this more, the black in coyotes, and most say they are a hybrid with a dog or some sort in there lineage. Could be close up, could be several generations back... interesting stuff.

Just like our hounds, the traits show up from years back.

Not very rare at all some buddies of mine have seen them in Western Maryland not sure if they are mixed with anything or it is natural. Another friend of mine got when stuffed that he shot during a past deer season in Pennsylvania.

Im glad someone started this post! Ive seen several here in Mercer County, Harrodsburg Ky over the past few years but just about everyone has told me i was lien or it was just a stray running with the pack. Guess it's something you got to see for your self to some.
