2004 World Hunt winner 2002 Runner up Logan Elm Blue Rocky I know he's long gone and I don't know if there's any video of him or not. If so I've never seen it.

As far as dogs that are still alive Big Meadow`s Superman and Sigler`s White Fang Buster

The first video I produced we had an old fashion run with a couple guys that brought their "best". We had a great time filming that. Egos were left at the door, and we stood around and watched the dogs for hours run. It was a fun day to be had and I got some pretty decent footage. Most of the footage I did receive showed the other guys dogs doing better than mine and my buddies! But, that was the footage I had, and that is that. Obviously, I would never try to depict any of these hounds that I ask to film, but understand I do not try to make my own look like world beaters by editing, I put on what I film.

Some of the ideas are great. I would love to have a pack of hounds to video and call it an "Old Fashion Rabbit Run". No scoring, no judging, no politics...just guys running hounds, having fun, and then myself putting it on video for others to enjoy. Like I tell the kids that I coach, "The eye(video) in the sky, never lies."

Thanks guys for the suggestions. This could get interesting. It would be nice to video the sires, then break out some pups out of them later on. :eyes: I could piece something pretty cool together with that.

This could be a great video,I would pay a good amount for a video with all them dogs or most of them. That could save someone alot of time looking for a stud dog.A lot of guys do not have the money to go and watch dogs of their choice, but to buy it and watch it would be great. It does not matter what style of dog they are just turn them loose and let the dogs work it out.My old friend use to tell me cream will always rise to the top and the sh*t will fall and lets see what dog ends up on top.Or even do a fun raiser at a club,Battle of the best.

Mapel Valley Kennels LLC. wrote:Due to buds location which is west by god virginia and luckys in london. I will personally see all parties are picked up and delivered. Ya know there is a few northern hounds i would like to see pound the ground. My ideal of bud is any hound that made 13 winners packs in 14 trials is worthy of being filmed. Now i got a set of pups off lucky that at 4 months are possibly the most amazing pups i seen, they may blow to hell today but as of now its crazy. There great. I have personally never seen eiether of these hounds compete but however would love to. So no i aint stiring the pot just trying to line it out. I will also go as far as to say Brian murphys demon dog vs neils kick em up cain would be another epic battle, i would love to see that one also. We aint scoring nothing right? We just watching and making memories.Take care and let me know if i can haul a hound. I need a day off anyway. :approve:
Jimmie the only time I can remember lucky and bud running together was at southern wv in a large pack hunt. I dont exactly remember how things shook out in the end but Ido know tthat was some of the best running I've seen at a trial. Great running, great people and a great club that's what its all about!

Would love to see you show dogs from different states and maybe from several different formats! :D Maybe even get as many as you to meet for the same weekend, same weekend, and you decide what dogs run with what . I am sure alot of the owners would love to see some of these dogs go that they haven't seen before....

How bout having 6 pack of dogs who represents a state, battle it out to premiere on Schag's video... Jason decides who he feels he wants to hunt over in the video?

I also want to add a few interviews in the process of this video. I want to interview several beaglers that have been successful in trials and just plain ol' rabbit dogs. Mr. Don Hoog comes to mind as an example for an interview. He surely has the success part down, and his character in itself would make me want to watch. What say thee, Mr. Hoog, I know you are kind of shy? I could also video his hounds running as well. He has finished who knows how many...a lot!! He is not the only one that comes to mind to interview, I have a list that I would like to contact.

Any suggestions??

Thank-you to all who are helping me sort some things out. Been having a good time reading the suggestions.

Casey,

I love the idea, but I just want to have fun with the dogs. This would bring too much competition into the mix. I would just like to video dogs, and not have to judge what I would look for. Great idea though, just not what I am wanting to do. Thanks.

I'll buy it no matter who is in it after seeing the other ones.

While i don't have a particular hound. I would like to see some smoking fast hounds that can keep it together.
