A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
Just read about the loss of Wayne. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I haven't know Wayne until about 4 years ago but he was a hoot to talk with. He knew his hounds and you could tell he enjoyed being with fellow houndsmen. As a bird dog man turned to beagles he gave me a lot of knowledge on the sport.
My God Bless his family and ease their loss.
Our loss is Gods gain, May Wayne be welcomed home.
Said to hear. I meet Wayne a few times at Berea and once at my club when we were running at Crab Orchard. We had an adventure that day catching some dogs! Great guy!
Sorry to hear about Wayne,he was a houndsman, had an eye for it,he made a contribution to the breed,he will be missed by all,
Earl ,thank's for posting.

If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered

Often I shut my eyes and I can hear Wait's Ky. Amy running a rabbit like it was yesterday. She had a mouth that sounded like a trumpet and she could sure do it right. The prettiest I have ever heard.
