Thanks for clearing that right up for me Steve. If I stand in the woods alone to listen to my dog or dogs run-for the next 30 plus years and all the judging that ever takes place is from me and me alone! I will always work at having better dogs than what I am currently running I am not sure how they may suit anyone else but I guess that doesnt matter- its me I am really trying to please. I agree with the competition thing 100% I compete with me continually to get a better dog, no matter what I have at the moment I have to have better. There are no gray areas for me to contend with I know exactly what I want, what I have, what I should have, and what I am willing to accept. I have to be totally honest because the only person that is going to suffer from my lies would be me!

blckcrk-dog i am in now way trying to stur anything up here but i myself have been to a trial matter of fact a AKC MIDWEST TRIAL where good dogs that have won or placed in where at!!! Brad & Bryan Johnson brothers where judging and i know for a fact the one of them was not using a score card but i really didnt care about that i was there to have fun and run some dogs!!! BUT THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT THEY NOT ONLY KNEW WHAT THEY WAS DOING BUT THEY DID IT RIGHT AND also he (The one not using a score card) could tell you what dog did what and why it got picked up or why it didnt move on!!!! I WILL ALWAYS DROP A DOG DOWN IN FRONT OF THEM~!!!! im sorry you didnt like the judges out there at your fun hunt but just because 1 judge didnt know something or didnt use a score card dont think that it was either buddy judging or not want to go to that hunt!!!! maybe next time we all think and this is for everyone out there not just for you blckcrk-dog that just maybe next time we feel the need to complain about the judges WHY DONT WE THE BEAGLERS GO OUT THERE AND JUDGE I myself have judged 1 time and that was a AKC DERBY and i will never say anything to a judge about what happened out there or say anything bad about him becausei know what it took to judge the derby and it aint all about fun you really have to love the sport to want to do that!!!!! i give props and appreciation to any judge out there that is making a effort to better the breed wether you have pen and paper in your hand or you can do it by brain i wish i had the brain cells and memory to do that!!!!!!!!!!
