Boy I didn't know we had so many saints on the board. Here is the bottom line, I work for amazon.com they make mistakes in pricing all the time and when they catch it they make the adjustment. Last year at Xmas someone made a mistake and offered 50% off on 100,000 different skus of shoes when they were supposed to offer 50% off on 10,000 skus of shoes. Nobody asked for any money back, it is just the nature of the business, if you check your receipt when you go to stores with automatic scanners there is no telling how many times you get charged the wrong price, and noone is coming back and hunting you down to give you your money back when they catch the problem. The bottom line is that technology has its good points and its bad points. It is not our job to do research for a company and make sure that they are charging us the right price. It is their job to get it right, and if they don't then that is just tough for them. I wouldn't cheat a person out of money, as i have on many occassions informed cashiers that they gave me too much back, but when it comes to pricing I'm paying the cheapest price possible, and if the company jacks it up then that is just tough titty for them, and if it is something I really like I am going to get as much as I can at the price that "they " rung it up at.

The truth of the matter is if they advertised it they HAVE to let it go at what they put in print. FACTS are that if they don't THEY not Danny or his uncle have actually violated the law and can be made to do exactly what they placed in their public advertisment. They can correct it by posting a correction but if they don't they are bound by what they put in print. If not they have commited a FALSE advertisement. Danny nor his uncle has done a thing wrong and they have not stolen a thing. Do any of you shop at stores that make the statement we will match anyone's advertised price? Well, when you go in with an ad that is $40.00 lower than the store your in has the item, are you stealing it? Are you going to say No thanks I believe I'll just give you the extra $40.00. How many of you shop at Wal-mart that does just that and tell them, thanks but no thanks, I think because I'm hollyer than thou I'll pay your advertised price because to do so would be stealing. GET REAL folks my wife shops there as well as Kroger's for groceries and gets her a nice savings between the two. It is a far cry between acquiring something from a manufacture right in front of their face from their advertisement and lifting it behind their back without their knowledge. I say if they made the mistake they better correct it or they'll have to abide by what they stated.

Put me on the list if buying something for what someone asks for it is wrong. If I sell you a car that books for $8000 for $6000, would you say no thanks? Chevrolet and Dodge recently sold pick-ups to where the dealers were basically making nothing. A truck that cost $35000 last year sold for $26500 this year. Would you say no thanks? Do you not ever buy clearance items that are sold at below cost? I do. If you price me something, it is my choice to buy it or not. I would not say, " well that dog's good, think I will give you an extra two hundred for it". B.S. We all take the best deals we can. This was probably a promotional sale anyhow.

Well expose me anytime ,i buy for what the price is so if its 0 geez thanks sucker.I am gone.But the flip side is i have returned money back a time or 2 to cust thats over payed me on tickets and i caught it at days end.As far as something for nothing count me in.Bought a pressure washer advertised for 250.00 rang up for 89.95. Well I wouldn't go so far as to take candy from a baby, but I feel that I have been price gouged and overcharged so much in the past that it would take finding about $50,000 in small, unmarked bills to even things out so if you have that don't leave it where I can find it.

after just spending approx 80.00 dollars on batteries for my TT transmitter and collars and it still not working right and having to send it in and pay another 80.00 something to have them repaired I would jump on a deal to get any of TT stuff for free cause they dang sure screwed me........80.00 to have batteries sent to me ..thats a rip off. ..............................seeing a great deal and taking it , thats business baby!!!

How is that the same? Chevrolet and Dodge set the price at that so they could sell them, their price wasn't a mistake but TT price was a mistake

PS. You think any of them box stores worry about screwing us? You think they lose sleep when they order a product from China for 40 cents and sell it to Americans for $4. You think my roofing distributor loses sleep when he sells me shingles for $90 a square that I can get from China for $15???? Or do you think they lose sleep when a hurricane hits Louisana and they raise my OSB in Indiana to 2 times the price?????

I still say screw corporate America every chance you get......because they WILL screw you every chance they get!

I'm on your side Vansickle... Went into Bass Pro shops in Michigan the first week they opened up. Was looking at the TT display they had and noticed that the plastic wrapping had been removed from one case of every model they had. Got to looking at the Beagler XL and noticed it was a 2 dog model that was open. They had no price on the display for the 2 dog model. I looked for a sticker and it said Beagler XL $335. Called the wife to open my new American Beagler Magazine and asked her the price for a 2 dog Beagler XL. She said $535. Closed the case and went to the counter. The clerk scanned it and told me the price of $335 plus tax. I said thank you paid for it and exited the store. Don't feel a bit guilty and that system lasted for 8 years of hard use. I recently traded it in for a classic 70 2 dog with tone. Wish they would of had more I would of bought one for a friend of mine one also... No dishonesty or theft on my part, just got a darned good deal... Pretty much just like Danny's uncle, he got something for the advertised price, there loss his gain. Anyhow thats how I see it....
